To operate any of our titles, it’s important that your Operating System is up-to-date. You can use the information below to check for updates.


If you’re using Windows 10:

  1. Left-click Start and then left-click on the Gear icon (Settings);
  2. Left-click Update & Security and then Check for Updates;
  3. Install all available updates as presented. You may need to restart your PC several times to completely install all updates.

If you’re using Windows 8 or 8.1:

  1. Point your mouse pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen;
  2. Select Search and type Control Panel;
  3. Left-click Control Panel and then select Windows Update;
  4. Left-click Check for Updates and install all available updates as presented. You may need to restart your PC several times to completely install all updates.

If you’re using Windows 7:

  1. Left-click on Start, then Control Panel;
  2. Left-click Windows Update on the window that opens;
  3. Left-click Check for Updates and install all available updates as presented. You may need to restart your PC several times to completely install all updates.


Important information

Microsoft has ended support for both Windows 7 and 8. This means you will no longer receive essential security updates putting your computer at risk of online threats and reducing it's compatibility with modern hardware and software. You may also find that graphics card brands Nvidia and AMD no longer provide up-to-date drivers for your operating system. 


Windows 8 or 8.1: Microsoft ended support for Windows 8 and 8.1 in January 2018. 

Windows 7: Microsoft ended support for Window 7 in January 2020.
