Frequently Asked Questions
Which locos are compatible with the IC Cab Car?
The following thread discusses which locos are compatible with the IC Cab Car and other useful information: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/br101-expert-some-clarification.83254/
How do door operations work?
The doors will open by themselves when unlocked and a platform is adjacent (and the doors that are opened are randomly selected as to simulate passengers opening the doors rather than all being opened, and at the same time). But, the doors still need to be closed by the driver, as in other German locomotives in TSW.
Why is the speedometer reading zero?
The train line ("ZS" aka Electric Train Supply) must be active at all times. When the batter drops below a certain voltage threshold, it will begin to shut other systems down. This is "minimalspannungsrelais" or minimum voltage protection/relay. There are several steps to this process. Initially it will shut off coach lights, then shut off the door locking, EP braking and the anti-skid. Last of all, you will lose the speedometer.

Why doesn't the Parking Brake light up (Federspeicher Anlegen)?
The parking brake spring is pushed back by the brake cylinder pressure, so you will only see that light if the brake cylinder pressure is below 0.5 bar.
