  • Clear your PlayStation's Cache
    1. Press and hold the [PS] button on your controller.
    2. Select Turn Off PS4.
    3. Wait for the console to fully power down and the lights to go out.

    5. Plug the power supply back in and power on the console.
  • Rebuild the PS4 Database
    1. Turn off the PS4 system by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
    2. Once the PS4 system is off, press and hold the power button again. Release it after you hear the second beep: one beep will sound when you first press, and another seven seconds later.
    3. Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 with the USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.
    4. Select the Rebuild Database option
    5. This will scan the drive and create a new database of all content on the system. This operation may take a long time depending on the type and number of data items.
