How to Upgrade a PS4 Game to the PS5 Version


When using a PlayStation 5 console, you have the option to upgrade a disc/digital PS4 game to the digital PS5 version. This upgrade is available at no additional cost to all Train Sim World 2 owners.

To upgrade a PS4 game disc to the digital PS5 version, your PS4 game disc needs to have originated from the same country as your account for PlayStation Network.


How to Upgrade PS4 Add-ons to the PS5 Version

  1. Download the PS4 version of the add-on on your PlayStation 5 console.
  2. Open the PlayStation Store.
  3. Search for the game.
  4. Scroll down to Add-ons.
  5. Select the Add-on you wish to download
  6. Press Download.
