  • Make sure the DRA switch is Off (Not illuminated).

  2. Reverser to Neutral.

  4. Train Brake to Initial.

  7. Train Brake to Running.
  8. Apply the Throttle.

How do I recover from an emergency stop in the High Speed Train?

  1. Throttle to Idle.
  2. Train Brake to Release

How do I use the Guards Panel with Class 158?

  1. Open the Guard Panel on the platform facing doors nearest the cab. It is located in a white panel to the side of the doors.
  2. Turn the Door Key to the On position.
  3. Open/Close buttons can be used to operate the doors accordingly.
  4. The Local Door Open/Closed switch can be used to operate that individual door.
  5. When done, turn the Door Key to the Off position and close the panel.

 How do I enable the passenger lighting in the Class 158?

  • Use the Lights On/Off buttons on the panel behind the driver's seat.
