4. Release the Driver's Brake.
5. Apply power using the Power/Brake handle.

1. Set the Master Key to On.
2. Press the Changeover button to engage the Throttle.
3. Move the Reverser to Forward.
4. Release the Train Brake.
5. Release the Direct Brake.
6. Hold the Throttle Forward to apply power.
