What is the start-up procedure for Class 170?
- Set the Master Key to Unlocked.
- Set the Reverser to Forward.
- Set the Throttle/Brake Lever to P1 to get moving.
How do I control the passenger doors in the Class 170?
- Set the Door Power Key Switch to Powered.
- Press the Door Release button to open the passenger doors.
- Press the Door Close button to close the passenger doors.
How do I enable the TPWS & DSD safety systems in the Class 170?
- From the driver's seat, turn right to face the panel on the opposite wall labelled Safety System Isolation Switches.
- Set AWS, DSD, and Vigilance switches to Normal.
- Press the AWS Reset button to acknowledge the autotest tone.

Timetable Layers
Timetable Layers will allow you to drive locomotives from other routes/add-ons in timetable mode. They may require you to own the complete set of compatible add-ons before layers are activated. The exception being where an add-on states it has timetable support for this route in the product description. The following information is confirmed for 9th generation consoles and PC, but there may be some small variances for players on 8th generation consoles.
